There's confidence but also a healthy dose of nervousness as Fever's newest starters prepare for their WNBA playoff debuts against the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday night.

Victoria Vivians, Destanni Henderson and NaLyssa Smith have been thrust into starting roles due to injuries — and reasons beyond their control — throughout the season, but none of them have experienced the postseason at this level.

Adjusting To The Postseason

The Fever certainly have their work cut out for them as they face a No. 1-seeded Connecticut team that has won 10 consecutive games, but Vivians is confident that her team is ready for the challenge.

"We're definitely going to have to bring our hard hats," Vivians said. "They're a very physical team, so we're going to have to be ready to play hard and grind it out."
